Craig Hook

Principal

Craig leads the minerals and related sectors part of Churchill Consulting. Prior to joining Churchill, Craig was General Manager for OceanaGold’s operations in New Zealand. Previous to that, Craig was an independent management consultant working throughout the Asia Pacific region. Before entering consulting, Craig spent fifteen years in line technical and management roles for global minerals organisations.

Craig is a leading practitioner in the design and implementation of business strategy and organisational capability systems. With a strong operational and leadership background, Craig has a proven record in the implementation of systems that drive an improvement culture of increased profitability and teamwork. He has experience across minerals and government services sectors for both global and SME companies both in Asia Pacific and North American regions.

In addition to his management consulting and management experience he has conducted due diligence of resource prospects with Rio Tinto.

After attending Brisbane Grammar School, Craig went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) from University of Queensland and later, an MBA from Melbourne Business School.
