Marketing Manager

Churchill Consulting is currently seeking an experienced and self-motivated Marketing Manager to join our team on a 3 day per week or 0.6 FTE basis.

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing Churchill’s communications and brand strategy in line with Churchill’s firmwide and service line strategies.  The Marketing Manager assists the Executive team to develop new business opportunities through the promotion of Churchill’s services and consultants and enhancing the Churchill brand.

Reporting to the Directors, the Marketing Manager is responsible for ensuring that the Churchill brand and vision is communicated with exceptional professionalism, creativity, consistency and integrity.

About the role

The Marketing Manager’s responsibilities include:

  • Developing, driving and executing the integrated marketing communications strategy, plans and associated campaigns to achieve branding and business development targets.
  • Developing and managing Churchill’s brand strategy and positioning.
  • Utilise current and explore new industry memberships and sponsorships to drive thought leadership and branding opportunities with target audiences and industries.
  • Driving, writing and delivering regular thought leadership initiatives, across a variety of marketing mediums, to profile Churchill’s people, capability and credibility with target audiences and clients.
  • Developing and delivering a Social Media strategy.
  • Planning and execution of all key client, networking and thought leadership events in line with the firmwide and service line-specific business development targets.
  • Developing and adhering to the annual marketing budget in-line with the firmwide business development objectives, the service line plans and the current marketing and branding objectives.
  • Regular reporting and analysis of the entire marketing function to senior leadership.
  • Maintaining internal communications channels to ensure the connectedness and engagement of Churchill staff (e.g. SharePoint and internal newsletters)

About you

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Previous experience of working within a professional services environment.
  • Appropriate tertiary qualification in Marketing, Commerce, Communications, Public Relations or similar.
  • 7 to 10 years’ experience working in a similar marketing communications role.
  • Proven success in developing a marketing strategy, implementing programs and achieving results.
  • Prior experience in developing and managing an organisation’s brand and corporate image.
  • Highly experienced in producing both technical and news-worthy editorial content for a variety of digital and social media communication channels.
  • Proficient using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, WordPress and EDM platforms to create visually engaging client communications, print marketing collateral, digital platforms, social media pages and advertisements.
  • Proven networking and thought leadership event management skills.
  • Experience in Salesforce CRM or equivalent is desirable.
  • Knowledge of the media and the ability to leverage its value.
