Churchill Supports the CEDA Shaping WA Events Series

 In Churchill in the Community, Churchill News and Events

This year Churchill has had the honour of being the Major Sponsor of CEDA’s three-part ShapingWA Series.

Yesterday saw CEDA host the second event in this series which focused on Agribusiness Outlook: Investment, Innovation & Opportunity. Attendees were treated to a panel of long-serving agribusiness experts and industry innovators including:

  • Dr Ross Kingwell of the Australian Export Grain Innovation Centre and UWA’s School of Agriculture and Environment;
  • Bruce Cheung of Pardoo Beef Corporation;
  • Dr Michel Robertson from the CSIRO; and
  • Natasha Ayres of upcoming AgTech business, Agristart.

Churchill Director, Todd Mairs had the honour of facilitating the panel discussion in front of the 180-strong crowd at the Pan Pacific, which saw the panellists wrangle a few curly questions from the audience also.

We are excited to still have one final instalment of the CEDA Shaping WA Series, which is scheduled for the first half of 2019 where we can once again support CEDA.
